End of Day Report

15 min

For every Narqix team member. After reading this page you will be able to close any shift with an end-of-day report (EOD) and a handover that show real outcomes in numbers and let the next person start without asking you anything.

Track: All tracks · Role: Everyone · Time to complete: 15 min

When and where

  • When: before you check out, and only after the CRM, tracker and notes are updated. The EOD is built from the system, so the system must be complete first.
  • Where: the place your campaign requires, at the same point in every shift.
  • Numbers: pulled from the CRM, dialer or tracker. Never from memory. If a number is not available, write "not available" and why.
  • Source: the rules are on the Reporting Standard page in Narqix Standards.

Shift handover

Add a handover any time work continues after you leave: a teammate on the next shift, a backup, or your own next shift after a day off. It is the Communication Standard handover format.

Handover for (CAMPAIGN):
Open items: (ITEM, STATUS, WHAT IS NEXT)
Promised to customers: (WHO, WHAT, BY WHEN)
Watch for: (ANYTHING UNUSUAL)

Property preservation desks use their own handover note and end-of-shift metrics table. Both are on the Daily Desk SOP page in the Property Preservation track.

Day 1 version for trainees

New team members post this short version on their first training day only. From Day 2, use the real format.

EOD (DATE), Day 1
Completed: (WHAT YOU FINISHED)
Questions: (YOUR QUESTIONS, or "none")
Tomorrow: (WHAT YOU WILL STUDY OR DO)

Rules for a strong EOD

  • Outcomes, not activity. "Merged 14 duplicates, 2 held for review" beats "CRM work".
  • Every "In progress" item has an ETA with date, time and zone.
  • Every promise to a customer appears in the EOD or handover with its time.
  • Flags are patterns and risks. Three customers asking the same thing is a flag. One rude caller who was handled well is not.
  • Under two minutes to read. Put long lists in a linked sheet with a one-line summary.

Coach's note: Your client reads the "Need from you" and "Flags" lines first. Write them as if the client will read nothing else. A clear decision request with your recommendation often gets a one-word reply before you are back on shift.

Never do this: Never invent, round up or copy yesterday's numbers. Never report a task as complete if any part is still open. Never post the EOD before the CRM is updated. A false report is an honesty breach, not a reporting mistake.

Before you post

  • CRM, tracker and notes updated first
  • Every number taken from the system, not memory
  • Times in the client's time zone with the zone named
  • "Need from you" is specific and has a deadline
  • Every promise to a customer listed with its time
  • Lead IDs or initials only, no full customer personal data
  • Readable in under 2 minutes

Check yourself

  1. What must be finished before you write the EOD?
  2. Your dialer report will not load at check-out. What do you write in the Dials line?
  3. Which version does a Transaction Coordinator post?
  4. When do you add a shift handover?
Answers
  1. The CRM, tracker and notes must be updated, because the EOD numbers come from them.
  2. "Not available, dialer report not loading at (TIME AND ZONE); will add tomorrow." Never guess.
  3. The general version plus the TC shift summary.
  4. Whenever work continues after you leave: a next-shift teammate, a backup, or your own next shift after time off.
